We open our project to travelers, learners, creatives, and people with limited financial resources who wish to join us through a spirit of mutual exchange.

This program is open to people who:
Are curious about sustainable living and community life
Seek a slower, more meaningful travel experience
Have limited financial resources
Are willing to contribute around 4–5 hours per day
Value respect, cooperation, and simplicity
No specific experience is required — only openness and a genuine willingness to participate.
How it works
Community participants are welcomed to stay at Luce sul Lago free of charge, in exchange for contributing to the mission and daily life of the association.
What we provide:
🏕 Free accommodation in our glamping retreat
🍽 Daily food and shared meals
🌿 Access to nature, activities, and communal spaces
How you contribute:
Gardening, land care, and olive grove support
Helping with retreat preparation and guest welcome
Supporting workshops, creative projects, or events
Maintenance, conservation, or simple daily tasks
Tasks are adapted to each person’s abilities, interests, and physical capacity.

This program is not unpaid labor — it is a balanced exchange based on learning, respect, and shared responsibility.
How come it is free
The community program is made possible thanks to the economic activities of the association.
Guests who are able to pay take part in the Luce sul Lago glamping retreat experience, and their contribution helps cover accommodation, food, and operating costs for community participants with limited resources.
In addition, income from organic olive oil production supports the association and contributes to its long-term sustainability.
In this way, those who can afford to pay make it possible for others to join, creating a model based on inclusion rather than charity.
